NICK CARTER - The singer celebrated his 29th birthday with numerous friends. Could the “Backstreet Boy” be that old already? Guess so. His heyday has come and gone…big time. Let’s face it, those boy groups only have a few years and then it’s over. Are you listening, Jonas Brothers? Remember Hanson, N’Sync, New Kids on the Block, etc, etc. Nick appeared to have had quite a celebration and it’s a good thing he wasn’t driving. He tried to borrow a paparazzi’s camera, but the guy wouldn’t have it. Anyway, Happy Birthday, Nick.

AJ McLean is a recovering alcoholic -- so it was heartbreaking to see the Backstreet Boy stumbling out of the Key Club last night, appearing to be wasted out of his mind. As McLean nearly falls into the street, one of his friends calls him out -- right out in the middle of Hollywood -- emotionally confronting the guy who went rehab for alcohol and cocaine abuse in 2001... and again 2002. Witnesses inside the Key Club say they saw McLean taking shots and drinking beers during the show. After the confrontation, McLean's friends forced him into a cab and sent him home. McLean was reportedly six years sober in 2008. Calls to McLean's rep have not yet been returned.

He is joined by several celebrities at Saddle Ranch in West Hollywood to support P.L.A.Y (Providing Laughter & Amusement for Youths), a charity for young people. Needless to say, this wasn't a place for young people. The celebrities in attendance included, but weren't limited to; David Faustino, Claudia Jordan, Colleen Shannon, Anna Lynne McCord, Shenae Grimes, Ian Ziering. Oh, Al Pacino did a drive-by.

jan. 23, 09 Backstreet Boy AJ McLean was seen clubbing in Hollywood on Thursday Night. He stopped and chatted about the band and how they are still going strong. He wanted everyone to know that are still together and have never fallen off. Even though they are missing a member they haven't missed a note. He even gave a quick acceptance of the Obama choice as he ran off.
